e-Commissions Project

We commissioned four composers to write new works specifically designed to embrace the artistic challenges of making music together while social distancing. We encouraged the composers to imagine new ways in which we might experience their work through the development of visual components and/or collaboration with visual artists; composers inti figgis-vizeuta, Maria Kaoutzani, and Elijah Daniel Smith collaborated with video artist Alex Van Gils, filmmaker Diego Armando Aparicio, and designer Tim Kwasny respectively, and Michal Massoud created both the audio and video for his work. We premiered these works as a livestream last April, and were able to share a discussion between the composers and performers as well. View the full playlist here.

earspace at Home

During quarantine, each member of the ensemble was invited to curate and create a solo/chamber performance from their residence. The result was a wide-ranging display of creativity and ingenuity from each of our ensemble member. We invite you explore the wide range of composers, performers, and multimedia skills on display in our "at Home" series by clicking here.
